It's a Bug! It's a Germ! It's Yucky and Gross! Who Will Save the Planet From the Invasion of the Microbes?
It's Microbe Man Flying 90 Feet to the Rescue!
It's So Much Fun... It's Positively Infectious
Emerging from the shadows high up in the rooftop of Liberty Science
Center, Microbe Man, the world's newest grime-fighting super hero, will
actually fly down 90 feet, zip around the four-story atrium, and finally land
on the Invention Floor to formally open a new exhibit on his favorite topic:
Microbes: Invisible Invaders... Amazing Allies, an interactive exhibit that
takes the visitor directly into the heart of one of today's most compelling
topics: how microbes continue to plague mankind and how scientists track them
and find cures.
Join us as Microbe Man demonstrates his amazing powers of flight and his
super germ-fighting ability:
* THRILL TO: Microbe Man's powers of germ-fighting flight that are so
great he can also fly up the atrium and from side to side to search out
the bad viruses and bacteria.
* MARVEL AT: Microbe Man escorting our guests and children through the
exhibit, demonstrating the virtual reality games, video games, and 3-D
holograms of his various foes.
* CHEER FOR: our superhero as he shows us all about the good germs -- the
ones that make bread rise, turn milk to cheese and yogurt, etc. -- and
help us live more healthy lives.
Microbes... Invisible Invaders... Amazing Allies is a new 5,000-square-
foot interactive exhibit sponsored by Pfizer Inc, and created by BBH Exhibits
in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The exhibit
will open to the public on Saturday, January 24 and remain at Liberty Science
Center until May 3, 1998 and then begin a five-year tour through the United
States.
