SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Revstone, a global leader in engineering, design and manufacturing, today announced that Jay Wilber has joined the company as executive vice president of the Revstone Transportation Group.

Before joining Revstone, Wilber served as executive director of General Motors and executive director of the UAW-GM center for Human Resources.  Jay is co-author of United We Stand (McGraw-Hill, 1995), a book describing the UAW-GM partnership for quality and process management.

For over forty years at GM, Wilber displayed a great diversity of perspective about transformation and lean organization principles.  He has had negotiating responsibilities with all national GM-UAW contract discussions since 1979.

Raised in Flint, Michigan, Wilber received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.  He also has completed the University of Toronto's advanced program in Human Resources Management and is a Certified Personnel Manager (CPM).
