AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents served by Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) now have the opportunity to save money on their electric bills and secure a low generation price for four years by signing up with the FirstEnergy Solutions PriceControl offer. By enrolling now, residents can lock in a fixed price of 9.49 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) on electric generation through 2017, which is a savings over JCP&L's current average residential rate of 10.67 cents per kWh.
