SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Magnum Gas Storage, LLC, announced today that Jerry Padilla has joined the Company as Vice President of Gas Storage Sales for its Magnum Gas Storage Project.

A 30-year veteran of the energy industry, Mr. Padilla started his career in 1980 as a land agent in the exploration and production sector with BP Amoco and later transitioned into the natural gas industry. For the last 18 years, he has been the owner/operator of a private gas marketing company. In addition to providing gas marketing contract services to companies in Denver and Houston, he has co-developed projects in the Rocky Mountain region ranging from exploration and production prospects to natural gas storage facilities.

The Magnum Gas Storage Project is the first large-scale, high-deliverability salt cavern storage facility to be developed in the Western United States. Plans are well underway to initially develop two caverns, each with a working gas capacity of approximately 10.5 billion cubic feet, in Millard County in central Utah.
