BOSTON, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- John Hancock Investments won two awards at the 12th annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, sponsored by the Web Marketing Association.
The firm won "Best Mutual Fund Online Ad" for its entry "John Hancock Funds has a new name" and "Best Mutual Fund Email Message" linked to the ad campaign.
In September of 2013, John Hancock Funds changed its name to John Hancock Investments, a move designed to reflect its role as a premier asset manager with a unique manager of managers' approach, as well as to highlight a product mix encompassing a range of investments beyond mutual funds.
"We are pleased to receive this recognition, which reflects our approach to seeking superior risk-adjusted results over time," said Andrew G. Arnott, President and CEO of John Hancock Investments. "We think it's a better way to invest."
