Mr. Hughes has over 20 years of successful industrial sales experience selling food & flavor ingredients, developing strong & close business relationships, and building value for customers. His previous experience with Cargill's Corn Milling & Sweetener business units provide a fundamental understanding of agricultural products and direct knowledge of the importance of food safety and security of bringing high quality ingredients from the farm to the food processor, and ultimately, to the consumer. Mr. Hughes' recent employment with Millennium Specialty Chemical, working with terpene chemistry, providing unique molecules to the flavor & fragrance industry broadened his experience in dealing with the sensitivity, creativity and innovation of bringing new flavors & fragrances to market.
Norwest Ingredients is a family owned and operated business started in 2000 by brothers Terry & Jeff Cochran. Norwest has been a natural development of their father's mint farming operation dating back to the early 1960s.
