John Kutz Joins Prophet as Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- John Kutz , a veteran of Deloitte Consulting with an emphasis on growth and innovation strategies, has joined Prophet as a partner, the firm announced today. He will be associated with its San Francisco office.

Prophet is a strategic brand and marketing consultancy that helps its clients win by delivering inspired and actionable ideas.

Kutz brings Prophet a 15-year track record of successful management and client engagement across such industries as consumer packaged goods, consumer electronics, high tech, and healthcare.

He was instrumental in forming and later leading Deloitte's national Growth and Innovation Services Practice, which today has over 50 professionals. This practice represented a continuation of Kutz' entrepreneurial leanings; in an earlier role in business development for the firm, he led the formation of ten new service offerings.

Kutz began his career with Deloitte in 1996, helping launch its office in Latvia, and later working for its Braxton Group, a strategy consultancy, in London and New York. Earlier, he served as an economist for a Washington, D.C. law firm.

A native of Oklahoma, he earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University.

Kutz lives with his wife and four children in San Francisco.
