NEW YORK, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- John McCook, a senior strategist and a media relations expert with more than 20 years of agency experience, has returned to Rubenstein Public Relations (http://rubensteinpr.com/) as a Senior Vice President, announced Richard Rubenstein. Among the clients he will be handling are City Harvest, the world's first and New York City's only food-rescue program; Cellufun, a mobile virtual world; the Simon Wiesenthal Center; Florisity Floral Designs and Dr. Timothy Chase, a cosmetic dentist on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

John previously spent a total of eight years at Rubenstein Public Relations. His clientele included the Donald Trump / Robert Kiyosaki book "Why We Want You to Be Rich: Two Men, One Message," The Rubin Museum of Art, Applebee's, Trump International Hotel & Tower, La Samanna Resort and ESSENCE magazine.

John most recently worked as a director in the brand marketing practice of Burson-Marsteller, where he was the senior media strategist on the Transitions Optical account. He also provided consumer media leadership on the Ford Motor and Foreman Grill accounts at the agency. Additionally, he led media relations training for the staff. John has also held senior-level positions at Cairns+Associates and Hill and Knowlton.
