July 4th Celebration in Chinatown on July 3rd
Welcome to Chinatown, U.S.A.
LOS ANGELES, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- An all day patriotic event to
celebrate July 4th will take place in Los Angeles Chinatown on July 3rd,
Sunday. It is sponsored by all Chinese American communities and organized by
Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA).
It will start with the raising of the flag at 11am in front of CCBA
located at 925 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Officiating the ceremonies
will be the Chinese American Elected Officials. They are: Mathew Lin, Vice
Mayor of San Marino, Joaquin Lim, Vice Mayor of Walnut and David Lau, Council
Member of Monterey Park.
Free US flags will be passed out to anyone attending.
Immediately after that, the ceremonies will move to Central Plaza, where
there will be speeches, entertainment and free refreshments.
In the evening, there will be a July 4th Dinner at Golden Dragon.
Donation is $20 per person for the dinner. PS: You are welcome to attend any
of our activities as our guest.
