"Replacing older plumbing products with modern, water-efficient models
is just one way that people can begin saving water in their homes and work
places," said Ed Del Grande, host of "Ed the Plumber" on the DIY Network
and Kohler's "how-to" expert. "For example, 3.5 gallon per flush toilets
installed more than 10 years ago consume two unnecessary gallons of
additional water each time they are flushed compared to new high-efficiency
toilets that use only 1.28 gallons of water per flush."
Among the introductions this spring is the new Cimarron Comfort
Height(TM) 1.28 gpf toilet with Class Five EcoSmart(TM) (EST) technology
that can save homeowners up to 3,200 gallons of water per year over
industry standard 1.6 gpf models. Additionally, Kohler introduces
Steward(TM) waterless urinals that can save commercial users up to 40,000
gallons of water per fixture, per year over a standard 1.0 gallon urinal.
In the showering category, Kohler launches the new low-flow
MasterShower(TM) Eco showerhead and handshower that provide homeowners and
specifiers with additional options to conserve water and qualify for LEED
credits. The 2.0 gpm sprayheads reduce water flow by up to 20 percent,
while maintaining consistent performance and temperature.
     Other KOHLER water-conserving products:
In addition to the new MasterShower Eco showerhead, Steward waterless
urinals and Cimarron Comfort Height 1.28 gpf toilet, Kohler offers myriad
products in its portfolio that offer varying levels of potential water
 savings to users.
      -- KOHLER Highline(TM) & Wellworth(TM) Pressure Lite toilets -- pressure
assist technology enables users to save up to 5,000 gallons of water
per year, per fixture; available in 1.1 or 1.4 gallon per flush
-- KOHLER Class Five(TM) toilets -- 1.4 gallon flush setting allows users
to save up to 2,000 gallons of water per year per fixture; Class Five

coordinate with various KOHLER suites and ensembles.

accurate activation sensor uses Tripoint technology which saves water
