Kansas Car Dealer Excited About Kia Motors America's New Ad Campaign
New Kia ad campaign to kick off with the start of the 2012-13 NBA season
TOPEKA, Kan., Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Briggs Auto, a Kansas car dealership, is excited about the new ad campaign for Kia Motors America (KMA). KMA joined forces with NBA superstar, Blake Griffin, once again as several TV spots have been created to help promote both the brand-new 2013 Kia Optima and also Kia's voice-activated infotainment system, UVO.
In the TV spot, created by David&Goliath, Griffin travels back in time with the new Kia Optima and tells a younger version of him to forget football and begin working on his free-throw shooting, which Griffin is known to struggle at.
Michael Sprague, KMA's Executive VP of Marketing & Communications, talked about how perfect of a fit Griffin is with Kia Motors America, stating that, "Blake turned people's heads after his famous dunk over a Kia Optima in the Sprite Slam Dunk contest at NBA All-Star 2011, and his on-court talent combined with his unique comedic style and personality have translated into a powerful partnership that has helped raise awareness and brand perception for Kia. Griffin is one of the most exciting and recognizable young athletes in the world, and this latest campaign pairs Griffin's basketball wisdom and athleticism with the youthful style, performance and cutting-edge technology of our wildly popular Optima midsize sedan and the award-winning UVO infotainment system."
