MANHATTAN, Kan., Aug. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Briggs Auto,  a Kansas car conglomerate, is proud to announce that they're the presenting sponsor for the "Ride for the Red," a benefit for the American Red Cross' Kansas Capital Area. The "Ride for the Red" is a motorcycle ride that's far from normal as it kicks off at the Heartland Park Topeka Grand Prix road course, led by two pace cars provided by Briggs Auto. After exiting the road course, the route will head through Flint Hills and conclude at Topeka Harley-Davidson around 3:00 P.M.

When the participants pass through Manhattan, Kansas, Briggs Auto has a pit-stop planned at the Briggs Auto Lane that will provide complimentary food and beverage(s) as well.

Participants can, and are encouraged, to become a 'Winged Warrior.' Winged Warriors' goal is to raise as much money as possible for the American Red Cross Kansas Capital Area while also qualifying to win great prizes once they reach certain monetary levels.

The American Red Cross does many great things across the globe for those in need, here's a specific account from someone who's already a 'Winged Warrior.'
