Kids Can Sketch, Paint, and Color Their Way into the Spotlight by Entering Sweet Pea Gallery's Art Contest
TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Get out your crayons and finger paints! Sweet Pea Gallery, a Tampa-based ceiling fan company that specializes in fans for kids' rooms, is searching for contestants to design artwork for their newest line of ceiling fans which will be sold in stores nationwide.
"Our entire collection of Sweet Pea Ceiling Fans caters to children, so we're continuously searching for designs that are new and trendy," says Amy Reams, Sweet Pea Gallery's founder. "This time, we decided go to the experts and have the kids create the artwork themselves. We can't wait to see the unique designs they dream up!"
Take one look at Sweet Pea's ceiling fans, and it's easy to see why they are a kid's favorite. The extensive selection of designs will coordinate with any child's decor. Themes ranging from whimsical flowers to extreme sports to fairy princesses decorate the fan blades. Just think, the next design could be created by your child!
The "Designed by Me" Art Contest is being held online via Facebook, and is open to children ages 0-17. Contestants may use a variety of art mediums to create their design. A photo of all artwork entries will be posted on Sweet Pea Gallery's Facebook page, and the public will vote to select the winning designs.
The contest begins today, and extends through October 23, 2009. Three talented artists will win a Sweet Pea Ceiling Fan featuring their very own artwork. The three winning fan designs will also be added to Sweet Pea Gallery's collection of ceiling fans and will be sold at participating stores.
