Kids Institute for Development and Advancement (KIDA) and Providence Speech and Hearing Center initiate "Providence @ KIDA" to serve speech needs of children with Autism
IRVINE, Calif., April 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- KIDA and Providence Speech and Hearing Center announced a new initiative to create Providence @ KIDA, a collaborative partnership by which Providence will provide speech and hearing services to KIDA clients.
As Providence and KIDA share the same vision and commitment to quality, this partnership will enhance the speech offerings of KIDA's innovative programs and will aide KIDA in becoming a leader in the treatment of children with autism. "The addition of Providence speech-language services at KIDA enhances the partnership between our organizations by offering patients with autism an array of care and treatment under one roof," said Linda Smith, CEO of Providence.
Providence has implemented speech and language services in KIDA's facility and is providing speech therapy to both KIDA school students and private clinic clients who choose Providence. KIDA school students will continue to receive speech services as before, with the opportunity to receive additional therapy sessions led by experienced Providence Speech Pathologists. "We are excited to work with Providence as we strive to elevate our services and commitment to our families," said Janna George, Associate Principal of KIDA School.
This initiative will expand services at KIDA and will also allow Providence to serve a broader population. "Providence is uniquely qualified as a partner for KIDA. They are the best in Orange County and one of the largest in the nation. They have the capability to scale up with us," said Fariborz Maseeh, KIDA's founder and benefactor.
