IRVINE, Calif., May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Klyme, a new weather platform, is making its first application available now for free through the iOS app store. Klyme translates all of the confusing weather parameters and figures to easy-to-understand recommendations, all packaged up in a simple and intuitive experience. For now people will be able to get at a glance information about the weather, clothing and activities recommendations as well as information on how other people are feeling around their location. These tips will help everyone plan for the day better when it comes to clothing, nutrition, and activities. Other features also include local sentiment maps as well as weather animations and photo filters.
Klyme was also built with social in mind. Users can write updates that are shareable on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. They can also share photos with friends and family. The iOS app also contains photo filters that are designed to reflect different types of weather on the photos being used.
In the near future, apps for most of the platforms and form factors (Android, Android wear, tablets, desktop, In-car) will be launched along with a service other developers can integrate within their own projects, the launch date of which will be announced at a later stage. iOS is just the start and the applications for the platform are limitless.
"We want to make everything around our users relevant taking into consideration weather conditions. And that is why we decided to get into this business," said Sherif Kozman, CEO and Co-Founder of AppaDeus LLC. "Moms, truck drivers, businessmen, teens, travelers, all share the same need to understand the weather and its effect on their everyday plans, and there's nothing better than a direct, personalized interpretation instead of complicated percentages and numbers," he continued.
Klyme is an AppaDeus LLC product. AppaDeus is a privately held company, founded in 2011, mainly focusing on the creation and development of mobile apps, for the iOS and Android phones and tablets.
