Track-r Enables Product Owners and Developers to Take Pivotal Tracker On The Go

CUPERTINO, Calif., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Koombea today announced the release of the Track-r application for iPhone, a mobile client for the Pivotal Tracker agile project management tool. Koombea built the Track-r application using Rhomobile's RhoHub and the Rhodes "write once and run on many" framework to build the application on the web and utilized RhoSync providing application users with synchronized data within the application.

Track-r for iPhone is a mobile client for Pivotal Tracker and was designed to enable product owners and developers to take project tracking anywhere they go. Pivotal Tracker is a free agile project management tool that enables real time collaboration around a shared prioritized backlog. It features velocity tracking, emergent iterations and story-based iterative planning.

"Koombea uses Pivotal Tracker in our every day development environment and we wanted to build an associated application that has sync data capabilities," said Jonathan Tarud, CEO of Koombea. Track-r uses Rhomobile's Rhodes smartphone app framework to write native apps for all major smartphones very quickly. Rhomobile's RhoSync allows the Track-r users to sync data to the device allowing users to manage work whether or not there is an Internet or cellular connection available.
