Kudzu.com Connects with Twitter - Users Can Now 'Tweet' Reviews

 

Consumer information website enables members to share valuable online referrals via Twitter

ATLANTA, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Sharing consumer reviews just got easier through the fastest-growing social network. Consumers who use Kudzu.com to review and find their favorite landscaper, hair salon, pediatrician and other local service professionals can now share recommendations with their fellow Twitterers whenever they write a review.

Kudzu.com has launched a new functionality that allows users to "Tweet" their reviews on Twitter after they write a consumer review. When a review of a business is submitted to the website, users have the option of posting a short summary and link to their review in the status update box on Twitter, to be seen by their "followers."

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers). The service is free to use over the Internet.

More and more, word-of-mouth referrals are happening through efficient online communications, rather than in person or over the phone. Kudzu is embracing social media applications and providing its users with multiple ways to efficiently share reviews with others.

Recently, Kudzu.com also implemented the Facebook(R) Platform to allow users to share their reviews with their Facebook friends. Originally launched in Atlanta, Kudzu.com now helps busy people across the country search, review and share their favorite local businesses online.
