Support for TSA workforce more important than ever, says AFGE

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Thousands of members of the 57 AFL-CIO labor union affiliates will converge on airports across the country to show support for Transportation Security Officers and efforts by the American Federation of Government Employees to gain collective bargaining rights at TSA.

"AFGE has been in a campaign to restore the workplace protections stolen from TSOs for eight years," AFGE National President Gage said. "It's been a long and difficult fight, and our TSO members tell us they often feel tired and defeated. The TSOs are so close to getting the collective bargaining rights they so desperately need.
