Lafayette Hotel Offers Festive Holiday Events

The holiday season at The Lafayette Hotel is in full swing. The historic North Park Hotel is offering a number of activities to celebrate the Holiday season. To launch the holiday festivities there will Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Conservatory on Sunday, December 9^th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will include a caroling performance, live Christmas music, a toy drive and plenty of festive drinks.

The Tinseltones, will stroll the conservatory and lobby singing some hip holiday tunes from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on December 15^th and December 22^nd.  Every night the Hotel offers a Hot Chocolate Bar with marshmallows, candy cane stirrers, cinnamon, nutmeg and more.  For the Grown-ups you can make it an adult hot chocolate with a shot of liqueur from Imig's Kitchen and Bar.  Imig's is also serving a new festive cocktail menu nightly invented by their own mixologists.

To pay homage to a classic Holiday comedy movie, Christmas Vacation, the Imig's Kitchen and Bar Family will be the first stop kicking off the Boulevard Night's event on Friday, December 14^th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  The Imig's crew will transform into the Griswold's with egg nog, ugly sweaters, drink specials, tacky decorations and a screening of the movie, Christmas Vacation.  Start off at the Lafayette at 5:30pm and then at 7:00pm hit the streets and join the neighborhood for Boulevard Nights which will be showcasing art, music, food and spirits from the Lafayette to 30^th Street.

Every Friday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm throughout the holiday season there will be live acoustic music in the Veranda.    Each week a new local band will be featured playing a wide variety of Christmas music, ranging from rock & roll to jazz.
