Land near Broken Arrow High School to sell in auction

Jul 17, 2014, 13:12 ET from Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company

BROKEN ARROW, Okla., July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Approximately 80 acres of land near Broken Arrow High School will be offered at auction Wednesday, Aug. 13, with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company marketing the property and conducting the auction.

"This land, located at Albany Street and S 209th E Avenue, is currently zoned A-1, for agriculture, but Broken Arrow's most recent comprehensive plan has it classified as Level II-Urban Residential," said Brent Wellings, Southwest manager for the auction company. "With its location very near such major landmarks as Broken Arrow High School, Bass Pro Shops, Walmart Supercenter and Cinemark Theatres, it has considerable potential for residential developers or for those seeking acreage for estates," he said.

The land will be sold in five tracts – two tracts of 10 acres each and three tracts of 20 acres each.

"Four of the five tracts front on Albany Street, and two of them have frontage on S 209th E Avenue. We will allow bidding in virtually any combination of tracts, so people can bid on just the land that suits their needs. We will also allow bidding as an entirety, so we could have a single buyer or we could have several," said Wellings.

The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Forest Ridge Golf Club, 7501 E Kenosha Street, Broken Arrow. Detailed information on that and other upcoming auctions is available by visiting www.schraderauction.com or by calling 800-451-2709.
