Lands' End Calls On Creative Kids For Graphic Tee Design

"Forest-Themed" Kids' Art Contest Will Put Two Winning Designs on a Graphic Tee

DODGEVILLE, Wis., March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kids' drawings hang in school hallways, art rooms and of course on Mom's refrigerator. Now, Lands' End wants to put these inspiring creations on a T-shirt. Running from March 1^st through March 31^st, kids ages five through twelve can create a "forest-themed" design and submit it to Lands' End. Lands' End will review all the designs and select two winners that will have their winning design printed on a T-shirt that will be offered this fall on landsend.com. Whether it's a shady group of trees, wildlife in its natural habitat or forest friends, kids are encouraged to draw whatever comes to mind.

"Boys and girls love wearing graphic tees that express what personally interests them," said Liz Pierce , senior design director, Lands' End. "We know we will receive great, colorful forest-themed drawings from kids around the country who love to hike, build forts and explore the forest."

In addition to having their design featured on a Lands' End Graphic Tee, the entrants who submit the winning drawing will receive a $500 Lands' End Gift Card. Additionally, four second-place drawings will receive a $250 Lands' End Gift Card, and four third-place drawings will receive a $100 Lands' End Gift Card.
