Las Vegas-Based Easy Energy Signs Exclusive Distribution and Marketing Agreement With Virginia's Fame LLC for YoGen(R), the Innovative Handheld Charger
WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Las Vegas-based Easy Energy which introduced YoGen(®), a fully-sustainable, handheld charging device that fits in the palm of one's hand, during this year's Hong Kong Electronics Fair, has signed an exclusive distribution and marketing agreement for the product, with Williamsburg, VA-based Fame LLC.
Under the agreement, Fame - a limited liability company with principal office and place of business in the Commonwealth of Virginia - becomes the exclusive purchasing, distributing, marketing and sales representative for Easy Energy's products throughout the United States and all of North America.
"Public reaction to the YoGen product has been phenomenal," said Easy Energy CEO Guy Ofir. "We are pleased and confident to enter into this exclusive distribution and marketing agreement with Fame. With more than half a million units targeted for distribution in the Western Hemisphere, we believe they will make this YoGen a household name in this part of the world."
"YoGen is a unique sustainable product, that fills a clearly needed void within the consumer electronics industry," said Alison Morrison, principle officer of Fame LLC. "Representing a product such as YoGen, and a company like Easy Energy, fits our business model perfectly. We're thrilled to be their exclusive distribution and marketing agent for the U.S., Canada and Mexico."
Available for on-line purchases through www.yogenstore.com, and scheduled for global distribution though retail and electronic stores in the Second Quarter of 2010, YoGen features an unmatched capacity to recharge any small-to-mid-sized personal electronics device by offering the industry's leading ratio of energy output to input. Through repeated pulls on an attached ripcord, similar to the motion of a Yo-Yo, YoGen's internal alternator generates power in sufficient levels to charge everything from cell phones, iPods, PDAs and MP3s to Gameboys, GPS units, cameras and other devices. The alternator interfaces with an energy-efficient electronic stabilizer and transmission to transfer linear kinetic energy through a patch cord from the compact, ergonomically-designed unit to the electronic device.
YoGen's formal product launch will take place at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (January 7-10 in Las Vegas), where the product line is expected to capture the spotlight from Booth 4812N in the Sustainable Products Pavilion.
