LCDTVBuyingGuide.com reviewers highlight new releases for the year across the different display technologies
ATLANTA, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Jack Burden and Robert Wiley have been busy keeping up with the new TV models to be released this year. These new models employ LED, 4K UHD, and OLED display technologies. 4K and OLED are newcomers to the television playing field. Reviewers were able to view and asses the strengths and weaknesses of these new TVs. They have compiled review pages where all of their reviews and articles can be found.

The LED-LCD TV Ratings page contains all of LCDTVBuyingGuide.com's reviews from previous years and new TVs will be seen here as soon as hands-on reviews are conducted. Editors expect to see 2013/14 models in stores soon and their reviews will follow accordingly. One of the top models for the year is the LG 55LA8600 LED TV. Burden provided the first impression on this one. "Passive 3D, local LED dimming, smart TV features with voice recognition, and the attractive Cinema Screen design," are some of the highlights he mentioned. He also talked about the new magic remote that is included with the TV.
4K TVs were the first of the new technologies addressed by Jack and Robert. Their 4K TV Reviews page contains plenty of information on the Sony, LG, and Samsung 4K TVs to be released this year. Jack Burden wrote about his first impression of the Sony XBR-65X900A and said, "The key to this TV and any 4K TV is how well it up-converts a 1080p signal to 4K resolution – 4 times. This is very important due to the limited content available for 4K TVs in that native resolution – almost non-existent at this point. Having viewed a 4K TV I can say that if the upscaling is done well, you still get an amazing picture quality. Sony is proven at this sort of technology and incorporates the 4K X-Reality PRO picture engine."
OLED TVs are the next step in picture quality for all the videophiles out there. Wiley's new OLED TV Reviews page offers first looks at OLED TVs from Samsung and LG as well as photos of prototype 4K OLEDs from Sony and Panasonic. The LG 55EM9600 will be one of the first 55 inch OLED TVs on the market. Jack commented on the picture and design of this OLED TV in his review. He said, "There is no back light in the EM9600. OLEDs produce their own light. That means black levels are top notch in this TV. The EM9600's picture is not affected by viewing angle or ambient brightness either. With a depth of only 4mm it is surely one of the thinnest TVs on the market. The TV is lightweight clocking in at only 16.5 pounds. Carbon fiber reinforced plastics allow the EM9600 to be light but not terribly fragile. The bezel around the display is a mere 1mm thick."
