Legum & Norman Community Manager Receives CMCA Designation From National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Legum & Norman, Inc., an Associa Company, proudly announces Andrea Bishop recently earned the credential Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers(NBC-CAM).
The CMCA credential signifies managers have passed NBC-CAM's national exam and met the requirements for managing condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations. Certified managers must also adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct and take continuing education.
Ms. Bishop has been in the property management industry for almost 3 years and has been with Legum & Norman for 2 years. Currently, Ms. Bishop is the on-site manager for Potomac Club in Woodbridge, VA. This gated community encompasses a clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool, 3 story rock climbing wall, tot lot, state of the art fitness center, business center, massage room, TV and billiards room, catering kitchen, and a multi-purpose room. In addition, the association provides maintenance free landscape living. Ms. Bishop grew up on a farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland near Ocean City. She attended Washington College in Chestertown, MD and majored in Political Science and Psychology and was a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society for Psychology. She relocated from the Eastern Shore to the DC Metro area 3 years ago.
