FRISCO, Texas, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lone Star Baby & Kids, America's premier retailer of infant and children's furniture and accessories, announces that it will inaugurate with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00AM CST on Saturday, February 18, 2012 its new University Training Center and Lounge inside its flagship store in Frisco, Texas.
According to Michael J. Schaul, Lone Star Baby & Kid's President, "Beginning with our first store opening in 2001, we have educated thousands upon thousands of new parents about new baby products, everything from cribs and nursery furniture, to mattresses, car seats, strollers and so many other products. With the inauguration of Lone Star Baby University Training Center and Lounge we are committed to educating and Preparing Parents for Parenthood." The University Training Center and Lounge is a comfortable place where new parents can learn, connect with others, share experiences and ask questions concerning their pregnancy and the products & services available to them.
"We not only have the largest selection of cribs and big kids beds in the Central Southwest, we believe we are the first baby store in the country to dedicate floor space and resources to educating new parents on safety and the best products for their baby. The Training Center has a conference room and class room settings for up to 15 individuals. The Training Center and Lounge is Wi-Fi enabled for those who just want to stop by for a casual cup of coffee, tea, coco or ice water to quench their thirst, while they surf the Internet. We have also designated a private space for those new moms needing to nurse their baby," added Schaul.
The first event to be hosted in the Training Center and Lounge will be a book signing by the authors of Baby Bargains, Denise and Alan Fields, who will answer questions and sign copies of their latest 2012 edition. The Fields and their Baby Bargains Book have been seen on Oprah, NBC's Today Show, and in People Magazine.
