LOUISVILLE, Ky., Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- John Shaw-Woo, GMeals owner, stated today that after two long years of struggling to introduce and change the eating habits of Kentuckians, through easier access to affordable healthier meals, he has decided to cease operations immediately.

GMeals concept was conceived in 2011 from the realization that individuals and families in Louisville, Kentucky were in need of convenient places to pick-up affordable, fresh, pre-made meals while on-the-go. GMeals concept was created around the idea of alleviating customers from having to shop, cook, and cleanup.
GMeals opened its first location in Louisville Kentucky in February 2012 and serviced Elizabethtown, Frankfort, Fort Knox, and Radcliff Kentucky. In 2013 GMeals began to increase its footprint within Kentucky by establishing accounts with Brown-Forman, Body Evolution Fitness University, Charah, Inc., Discover Home Loans, Kelley Construction, Jabil, Jefferson Community and Technical College, Genentech, Henderson Community College, KentuckyOne Health, Louisville Athletic Clubs, Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Nuplex Resins, Sprint, TARC (Transit Authority River City), The NIA Center, UofL Football Team, UPS (United Parcel Service) Air Cargo, WJIE Radio Station, Zeon Chemicals LP, and others.
