MENDOCINO, Calif., Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The MacCallum House Inn and Restaurant announced today an innovative new promotion that effectively allows guests to stay for four nights, pay nothing and receive $151 in the form of dinner for two, wine in the room and cash credits.

"In these uncertain economic times people are looking for unbeatable deals. We believe we have created an offering that allows people to continue to experience the magic of Mendocino and the MacCallum House with no impact to their pocketbook," explained owner Jed Ayres.

The property is known for its generous and out-of-the-box promotions. Earlier this year the Inn gave away every accommodation on the 43-room property to someone who had lost their job in the past six months. That same night they hosted a VIP reception for those out of work, complete with top recruiters reviewing resumes and providing interviewing techniques.

More recently the Inn hosted another job fair in the W Hotel in San Francisco. The event attracted over 100 people and included recruiters and companies from around the Bay Area.

According to General Manager Herman Seidell, "many of these guests have since returned to work and have become lifelong fans of the MacCallum House. We believe in the power of grace and generosity."

The current special runs through December 1st and is good for rooms booked through June 1st, 2010.
