LyondellBasell Shares Begin Trading on NYSE

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (NYSE: LYB) common stock begins trading today on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol LYB for Class A ordinary shares and LYB.B for Class B ordinary shares.

The combined daily trading volume for the two classes averaged 3.2 million shares since May 1.  LyondellBasell's market capitalization is approximately $15 billion, ranking it among the largest chemical company stocks on the NYSE.
