Maersk Partner and CEO to Deliver Keynote Speech at 2010 Journal of Commerce Trans-Pacific Maritime Conference
NEWARK, N.J., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Journal of Commerce Conferences announced today that Eivind Kolding, Partner and CEO of the Container Business at Maersk, will deliver a keynote speech at the 2010 Trans-Pacific Maritime Conference (TPM). The conference will take place March 1-2, 2010 at the Long Beach Convention Center. This is the 10th anniversary of TPM, the leading container shipping event in North America.

Eivind Kolding was appointed partner of A.P. Moller and CEO of the Container Business of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group in July of 2006. He is also a member of the Group's Executive Board. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group since 1998.
Mr. Kolding joined the company in 1989 as lawyer in Corporate Secretariat, Copenhagen, and was later appointed Senior Vice President and head of the Secretariat. In 1996 he became Managing Director of Maersk Hong Kong Ltd., where he stayed for 2 years.
He graduated as MA, Law in 1983 from Copenhagen University and was admitted to the bar, as a lawyer in 1986. He is also vice-chairman of the Board of Danske Bank.
The Trans-Pacific Maritime (TPM) Conference is the major North American gathering of shippers, carriers, third-party logistic providers, railroads, port authorities, truckers, terminals and other participants in the trans-Pacific ocean container trade.
