NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 16th the stage of the legendary New York concert venue Webster Hall will host the first Russian show to be premiered on Broadway. A provocative musical, "The Beast and the Beauties," produced by the President of the Association of Russian Striptease clubs and owner of the "Golden Girls" Club in Moscow, Mr Lucky Lee, is the main intrigue of the season. The author and the producer – who has followed the path of The American Dream, starting out as a simple guy from a remote part of the Soviet Union and becoming the Ombudsman of one of the most controversial professional communities and a women's rights advocate ‑ will star as "The Beast" with "The Beauties'' ‑ 15 Moscow striptease dancers – by his side, ready to bare all on the American stage for the idea of peace in the world.

"The musical is remarkable not only for the synthesis of the classic Broadway musical and erotic cabaret, but also for the moral mission being put behind it," explains Mr Lee. "Even if it sounds contradictory to the modern society, the heroes stand in favor of family values, humanism, honor and dignity. As the world of the 21st century is still full of prejudice and double standards, a hidden deep meaning underneath the masque of burlesque and shock is much more ethical and honest than the hypocritical speeches of some moral advocates."
The plot of the musical, based on the autobiography of its creator, raises the most vital questions of our time: the limits allowed in erotic art, the relationship between the society and the individual, morality and freedom, the psychology of personal life, happiness and its pursuit. Show participants, as well as their inspirer Lucky Lee, are challenging public opinion, which still refuses to recognize the rights of women and infringes women's freedom of choice and expression. Such opinion, devoid of common sense, intimidates people from childhood, recounting crazy intimate stories, declaring sexiness a sin and fostering psychological complexes and feelings of inadequacy. This is the opinion of a tyrant, dictating our actions, choosing our friends, determining how we dress and what we say. Promoting love over evil while waging endless wars.
The main characters of the show "The Beast and the Beauties" tell us to "fire with our eyes, not bullets" and "blow up dance floors, not houses," continuing the tradition of the legendary fighters for peace and justice, who are loved by millions of people. But how well they manage to express their thoughts and convey their message is for the audience to judge.

About "Golden Girls" Club
The "Golden Girls" Club was founded more than 10 years ago in the depths of Moscow's largest aristocratic entertainment holding, "Golden Palace". In the early 2000s, the Club quickly gained popularity as one of the most prestigious weekend destinations in the capital. Since then, the brand ‑ "Golden Girls" ‑ became synonymous with the new philosophy of secular entertainment and contemporary art. Today, the team, inspired by Mr Lucky Lee, became the main ideologue of the new gender and social revolution in Russia. The quality standard of "Golden Girls" has been affirmed at an international level: the club was nominated in the category Expo and Tradeshow 2015 (New Orleans, USA) Gentlemen's Club Award "Best International Club of the Year".
