Making Work Pay, and Pay Again: Local Discount Program Eases the Pressure of Economic Woes

LONG BEACH, Calif., May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Long Beach and Seal Beach residents and visitors can get a little more out of their Making Work Pay tax credit with the Yooh! Card, a discount program that unlocks exclusive savings with local businesses. Brock Communications, a local marketing company, has launched the Yooh! Card to serve the needs of both consumers and businesses during these uncertain times.

After all, who wants to stay home and mope just because the economy's bad? This is a time when many consumers yearn for an escape from financial woes. The Yooh! Card brings that escape, via perks like free sunglasses from Seal Beach merchant Swiss Dot or savings on show tickets from Tibbies Cabaret.

Valid cardholders get unlimited use of any current discount listed on TheYoohCard.com. Discounts are being added every week.

The cost of the Yooh! Card is $15, roughly equivalent to the weekly benefit available to employed taxpayers through the Making Work Pay tax credit. One paycheck pays for the card, and the holder benefits for months.
