WHAT/WHY: | Manchester City Football Club will help the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles score some summer goals at a beach day and barbeque festival in Long Beach on Friday, July 22. | ||
Boys & Girls Club members experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet their Manchester City Football heroes at a day of fun in the sun and soccer. The kids will participate in a variety of activities, including soccer clinics led by professional Beach Soccer Players and Futboleros (football jugglers), as well as beach soccer matches | |||
The Manchester City Football Club squad will participate in the beach activities - including a penalty kick shootout – as well as take photos and sign autographs for participants. | |||
Manchester City F.C. is a top-flight English Premier League Football Club and are the 2011 Football Association Challenge Cup champions. As part of their participation in the World Football Challenge, they will play the LA Galaxy in a friendly match at Home Depot Center on July, 25. | |||
