Survey Results Announced In Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In the midst of a weak national economy and a full-blown foreclosure crisis, The U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) will release the results of its 2009 Hunger and Homelessness Report at a Press Conference on Tuesday, December 8th at 11:30 a.m. at the Conference of Mayors headquarters in N.W., D.C.
The survey will include results from twenty-seven of America's major cities (listed below) that highlight the impact of hunger and homelessness in metropolitan centers in the United States. For the past 23 years, The Conference of Mayors has reported on the status of hunger and homelessness in our nation's cities, as well as the programs offered by many cities to help people in need of food, shelter and emergency assistance.
