    VANCOUVER, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee
 for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC), the Government of
 Canada, the Province of British Columbia and the Resort Municipality of
 Whistler will celebrate the end of construction on Whistler's three
 competition venues with a community celebration on December 14.
 
     Whistler Sliding Centre photo opportunity and media availability:
 
     Members of the media are invited to a photo opportunity and media
 availability at the Whistler Sliding Center. Following a brief presentation
 and photo opportunity, attendees will be available for one-on-one
 interviews.

Racers as young as six years old will be joined by members of Canada's Para-Nordic National Cross Country Ski Team and an excited skiing public that has eagerly anticipated their first opportunity to use the trails at the world-class facility.
