Elementary schools from Rhode Island and Mississippi are among grand
                                prize winners

MONTREAL, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The votes are in! And MEGA Brands (TSX: MB) awards the grand prize winners of RoseArt Design your Dream Classroom Contest to Father John V Doyle School in Coventry, Rhode Island and N.E. Taconi Elementary in Ocean Springs, Mississippi for their creative classroom designs.

As the three grand prize winners in the K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grade categories, each class will receive RoseArt school supplies for the remaining 2009/2010 school term (valued at approximately $1,700). Secondary prizes will be awarded to the 12 runner-up classrooms, three in each of the grade categories, who will receive a gift basket full of RoseArt supplies valued at approximately $150.

"It was really impressive to see all the inspirational designs submitted by creative minds in elementary schools across the U.S. and Canada," said Vic Bertrand, Chief Innovation Officer of MEGA Brands. Taconi Elementary will be able to create even more top notch artwork!"

About the 'Design your Dream Classroom' Contest

The contest invited participants to create and digitally submit a creative design of their dream classroom such as drawings, mock-ups, photographs through the new RoseArt website at www.roseart.com. The website featured an online gallery where kids and classrooms were able to upload and share their pictures. A judging panel selected the top submissions in each grade category and the final winners were selected through a public online voting process based on the most creative, original and innovative entry.
