Michael S. Spindler Joins Capstone Advisory Group, LLC

SADDLE BROOK, N.J., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Capstone Advisory Group, LLC is pleased to announce that MICHAEL S. SPINDLER, CPA, CFE, CISA, has joined the firm. Mr. Spindler is an Executive Director in the Litigation and Forensic Group of our Los Angeles office.

Prior to joining Capstone, Mr. Spindler was a partner in Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP's Forensic & Dispute Services practice. Conducting a broad range of dispute consulting services, with a particular emphasis on litigation support, fraud investigations and anti-fraud program consulting, he has served as an expert witness in bench trials, jury trials and arbitration proceedings. Mr. Spindler has testified regarding a variety of matters, including lost profits, fraud losses, alter ego, anti-fraud programs, punitive damages, construction claims, real estate claims and disgorgement. He has also served as a neutral accounting arbitrator. He has conducted numerous fraud investigations into allegations of financial statement fraud, employee embezzlement, improper use of investor funds and foreign corrupt practices act (FCPA) violations.

Mr. Spindler also has experience with a broad range of industries, including entertainment, oil & gas, real estate, health care and manufacturing. At Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, his past roles included serving as the national leader for the entertainment industry and as practice unit leader for the Pacific Southwest forensic & dispute services practice. At a prior national accounting firm, he served as the practice unit leader for the business fraud risk services practice for the U.S. Western region.

Mr. Spindler holds a BS degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a CPA in California, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Hawaii. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
