A total of 39 companies, less than one percent of SAS' current supply base, received awards at the dinner. They were chosen for meeting demanding standards in the areas of quality and delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial health. Evaluations of their performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day were also part of the selection process. Supplier excellence awards were presented at the 3- and 4-Star level, with Micross being one of six companies honored with a 4-Star award.
