Firm Hires Michael Genovese to Cover Communications Equipment and Matthew Dembski to Cover REITs

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MKM Partners today announced two key hires in its Equity Research Department. Michael Genovese has joined as Executive Director to cover communications equipment, complementing MKM's existing coverage of mobile technologies. And Matthew Dembski has joined as Executive Director to cover real estate investment trusts (REITs), inaugurating MKM's research expansion into financials. Both gentlemen will be based in MKM's Stamford headquarters.

Mr. Genovese brings both buy- and sell-side experience to MKM Partners, most recently at Soleil Securities, Citigroup and AllianceBernstein. He also spent several years at Ciena Corporation. Mr. Genovese is well respected for his extensive industry network and thorough, accurate channel checks. He holds an M.A. from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.

Mr. Dembski also brings both buy- and sell-side experience to MKM, most recently at Credit Suisse Global Real Estate Securities, where he was the portfolio manager for a variety of REIT funds, Trilogy Capital Advisors and Credit Suisse First Boston. He holds a B.A. in Economics from American University.
