Matthew D. Conlan Joins Firm and Extends Research Coverage to include the Energy Industry

GREENWICH, Conn., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- MKM Partners announced today that Matthew D. Conlan, CFA, has joined the firm as a research analyst covering the Oilfield Service industry. Matt will also be utilizing his experience and expertise to generate macro analysis on the broader energy industry.

Matt brings to MKM Partners 18 years of professional experience analyzing the energy industry, primarily covering Oilfield Services where he has earned the distinction of being named one of The Wall Street Journal's Top Stock Pickers four times during his years at Prudential Securities and Weeden & Co. Mr. Conlan was also previously named a top stock picker by StarMine for his company coverage within the Energy & Equipment Services sector. In addition, he has covered the US Integrated Oil Companies and Independent Power Producers, providing him with broad exposure to multiple sectors. Most recently, Matt was employed by Brevan Howard Asset Management as a Senior Energy Analyst.

Matt graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics, and earned his CFA designation in 1996. Matt stated, "I am very excited to join MKM Partners.
