Firm Hires New Sales Team and Opens New Office in San Francisco

GREENWICH, Conn., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MKM Partners announced today that Andrew Mosby and Mike Gallo have joined the firm and will be working out of a new office in Corte Madera at the Corte Madera Town Center. Mr. Mosby joins the firm as a Senior Sales Trader while Mr. Gallo will take on the role of Senior Research Sales. The addition of a San Francisco location is key to the expansion of MKM's national coverage. Andrew and Mike will be providing coverage to clients from the Rocky Mountains to the west coast.

Mr. Mosby joins MKM with an extensive background in position trading and equity sales. Most recently Andrew was with Execution LLC where he was an equity sales trader developing new business from Denver to the west coast out of their San Francisco office. He began his career 20 years ago at CSFB and has filled senior roles at Lehman Brothers, Thomas Weisel Partners and Susquehanna. Prior to joining MKM Partners Andrew successfully developed and expanded the equity sales trading divisions at several of his previous firms.

He continued, "I am eager to introduce MKM's quality research and trading expertise to the western region of the US." Andrew is an alumnus of Lynchburg College where he majored in economics.

Mr. Gallo brings to MKM over 25 years of institutional experience within major firms such as Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns and JP Morgan. Additionally, Mike was a Partner and Managing Director at JMP Securities where he was responsible for starting and building out the firms equity business from 2000 through 2005. "I am excited to be part of the MKM team and believe west coast clients will be attracted to the proprietary research and outstanding execution capability of the firm," stated Mike. He is an alumnus of St. Michaels College and Bentley College where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in accounting respectively.
