Firm Hires Brian Cumberland as Managing Director of Research Sales

GREENWICH, Conn., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- MKM Partners today announced that Brian Cumberland has joined as the Managing Director of Research Sales. Brian will be responsible for managing MKM's sales team globally. In addition, as a member of MKM's Operating Committee, Brian will work to develop and expand the firm's institutional research and trading product offerings.

Mr. Cumberland previously spent 9 years at Merrill Lynch in New York City working with institutional equity clients, most recently as a Director and senior member of the hedge fund sales team. He was consistently recognized within Merrill as a top performer driving production growth across the global cash, equity capital markets, derivative and commodity trading business units.

Brian graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English and has a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.
