Molalla Area Dental Records Accessed Through Back Door Portal

MOLALLA, Ore., July 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Molalla Family Dental discovered unauthorized access to patient records on or about May 18, 2012. All affected patient notification letters were mailed on July 16, 2012. 

An investigation by an independent forensic firm revealed that personal information might have been exposed, including patient name, Social Security numbers, patient x-rays, insurance information and credit card numbers. At this time there has been no indication of malicious use of patient information.
