Morris To Unify Travel Publications Under Where Brand
AUGUSTA, Ga., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Responding to the needs
of today's travelers, Morris Visitor Publications is rebranding and
redesigning its Guest Informant publications. The announcement was made
today by William S. Morris III, chairman and CEO of Morris Communications
Co., parent company of MVP.
"To complement MVP's popular Where magazines, Guest Informant will
become Where Guestbook and Quick Guides will become Where Quick Guides,"
Morris said.
Where Guestbooks will now include more essays and local information
giving travelers an even deeper understanding of the city they are
visiting. The coffee-table books will also feature richer photography and
improved design. The changes complement the local dining and entertainment
information found in Where magazine, a publication that travelers can take
with them. Where Quick Guides will continue to provide an array of coupons
for budget-conscious travelers.
"As a result of extensive research in our publication markets, we are
customizing our publications to meet the varied needs of visitors," Morris
said. "These changes will enhance their travel experiences."
The first publication to see the brand change will be Guest Informant
Atlanta, which will print in November, followed by Guest Informant Los
Angeles in January. All the other publications will officially adopt the
brand change by April 1.
