Mosaica Education, Inc. Opens Ten New Schools in Fall 2005

    NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Mosaica Education, Inc. (Mosaica), a New-
 York based education management company that operates charter schools,
 announced today that it has added ten new schools to the roster that it
 manages. The addition of these ten schools increased the enrollment at
 Mosaica-managed schools by 23% with more than 12,000 students now attending
 the US-managed schools.
     Nine of these startups involve new charters for elementary schools in Ohio
 including schools in Cleveland, Maple Heights, Columbus, Youngstown, Lorain
 and Warren. The tenth new school opened in Michigan -- Discovery Arts and
 Technology Academy -- an elementary school in Inkster.
     Mosaica now operates 70 schools in eight states, the District of Columbia
 and the Persian Gulf country of Qatar. In addition, Mosaica has also expanded
 its Spectra Division, which provides after-school tutorial services to
 students attending traditional public schools. After serving students at 38
 sites around the country last year, the Company will have tutoring centers at
 140 sites (in 14 states and the District of Columbia) during this school year.
