MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Motley Rice LLC, one of the
nation's largest plaintiffs' litigation firms, today announced that attorney
John M. Eubanks has joined the firm. As a member of the Motley Rice 9/11 and
Anti-Terrorism practice group he is involved in the litigation recently filed
in the Eastern District of New York against Arab Bank PLC. Eubanks will also
work on the 9/11 Families United to Bankrupt Terrorism action as well as the
litigation against Libya and others on behalf of an American victim of the

Eubanks' interest in counterterrorism developed during a year of study in
the Middle East when he was present in Israel during multiple suicide bombings
against the Israeli civilian population. After graduation from Georgetown
University, he pursued this interest in counterterrorism as a researcher with
the Washington, DC-based think tank, The Investigative Project. He served as
a liaison on various terrorism financing investigations pertaining to Hamas

litigation pertaining to the financing of terrorism that resulted in the
murder of an American citizen.
Prior to joining Motley Rice, Eubanks was associated with a law firm in
Washington, DC, where he was integrally involved in civil litigation against
various groups within the United States who provided material support or
resources to the Hamas terrorist organization. Eubanks earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Foreign Service and spent a semester abroad at The Hebrew
University of Jerusalem. Eubanks earned a JD from Georgetown University Law
Center and was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in January of 2004.
Eubanks has published numerous articles on counterterrorism and security
and was a major contributor to a full-length non-fiction work entitled
"American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us," (Free Press 2002) which

States who provide material support and/or resources to Middle Eastern and
