$5 Blackjack is back!

DETROIT, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- MotorCity Casino Hotel will be the first to introduce Table Master's Royal Match 21 Blackjack in the Detroit gaming market today. The game, which is a hybrid between live table gaming and slots, combines the excitement of traditional table games with the convenience of slot games. In addition, the new game will be offered with a $5 per hand minimum wager.

Phil Trofibio, vice president of slot operations, says the electronic tables are an innovative option for new players to the game as well as experienced live Blackjack gamers. "Royal Match 21 Blackjack offers all the fun and excitement of live Blackjack in a less intimidating environment. The lower table minimum will allow players to get more mileage from their gaming budget. There are no lengthy card shuffles or chip exchanges as these games feature Ticket-in, Ticket-out. Royal Match 21 Blackjack is the second electronic table game to be introduced by MotorCity Casino Hotel. Last fall the property was the first in the state of Michigan and the third casino in the nation to introduce electronic Roulette Revolution. The highly popular game allows guests to play the traditional game, with wagers starting at $5, at an individually seated station. The outcome of the game is determined by the spinning of a real Roulette wheel. The winning number is displayed at each station as well as on a large communal electronic monitor. "Roulette Revolution has increased interest in live Roulette as new table players have gained knowledge and confidence through playing the electronic game," Trofibio said.
