LOS ANGELES, May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Songs of Hope III charity event, hosted at the private home of Lionel Richie, five-time GRAMMY Award(R)-winner and one of music's most successful artists/producers/songwriters, was a must-attend party on May 19. At the exclusive cocktail party/silent auction of autographed sheet music, film scores and original lyrics, guests were treated to a surprise performance by legendary entertainer Lionel Richie as well as several tunes from multi-platinum singer/songwriter and producer Brian McKnight. The artists sang to a standing-room-only crowd at the host's Beverly Hills home. "We are extremely grateful to Lionel, Brian and our friends in the music publishing/songwriter and artist community for helping to make this event such a huge success," said David Renzer, event chair of Songs of Hope III and worldwide president, Universal Music Publishing Group.
