My Alarm Center Appoints Alan Boris as Vice President of Information Technology
NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- My Alarm Center (MAC) announced today it has appointed Alan Boris as its new Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Boris brings a wealth of knowledge in the Information Technology field to My Alarm Center, where he will address the company's growing technology needs as it pursues its aggressive growth plan.

Mr. Boris has spent the past 17 years as an IT professional, which includes experience in programming, IT, and various other areas of technology. Prior to joining My Alarm Center in 2011, he was most recently the Chief Information Officer for Lippincott LLC where he was responsible for all of the company's technology initiatives including the creation and development of Lippincott's IT systems and applications.
Prior to joining Lippincott in 2007, Mr. Boris led his own software consulting company, Alan Boris LLC, which served clients in varied fields such as pharmaceutical, chemical, advertising and property management. In addition to designing and building desktop applications, databases, and web applications, he analyzed business processes and assisted in modifying them for increased efficiency.
Mr. Boris' background also includes experience in broadcasting and engineering, with stints in Garden State Cable TV (now Comcast) and local radio. He is a graduate of Hofstra University.
