NALEO Issues Statement on White House Comprehensive Immigration Meeting
"We are encouraged by what we've learned about the meeting yesterday between President Obama and members of Congress about the prospects for comprehensive immigration reform.
It is important that this meeting was bipartisan. It will require the cooperation of both parties to repair our nation's broken immigration system.
Ultimately, what matters is action, and we encourage the participants of yesterday's meeting to immediately begin the important work ahead."
