The M10 is a portable device that creates new paradigms for secure and safe military, homeland and commercial venues by screening people for explosives as they enter public facilities. The M10 is designed to be compatible with three sensor technologies under development by NanoSensors, Inc. The first sensor, based on the integration of several existing technologies, has been through testing under simulated conditions, and the commercial viability will be determined in field testing with live explosives. The current M10 platform is equipped with first generation sensors that have the ability to enhance a person's understanding of the hazards in his or her environment. Future generations of the M10 will be equipped with sensors based on porous silicon and carbon nano-tube technology.
